Big Town was started by me, Richard Evanns, a commercial litigation attorney with many cases under my belt, and experienced real estate investor, with one goal only: Providing clients with the level of real estate services that I wish I had from the start but never did.
Things like knowing landlord tenant laws and short term rental / BnB regulations, knowing how to add value with various techniques like permitting extra space or ADU’s, knowing how to get concessions when buying a home or selling a home through creative dealmaking, calculating actual investment returns – these are just a few real estate sales and investment tactics that I was interested in. Unfortunately, I had to figure all of this out myself, because nobody, including the agents who sold me properties, ever seemed to have the answers.
Real Estate clients of Big Town do not have this problem. When you hire us, you will get years of research/data, real investment experience, and real answers to your real estate questions, both legal and practical, from a person who was born and raised here in LA, and who has lived in, invested in, and operated business(es) in most neighborhoods in Los Angeles.
I am experienced in both the acquisitions, operations, and law surrounding short term rentals, mid-term rentals, and long term rental properties in Los Angeles and surrounding markets, from Joshua Tree to Yosemite. My law firm has recovered many tens of millions of dollars for its clients; it is my sincerest hope that my real estate company can build many millions of dollars in wealth, equity and income for its real estate clients.
